Two search warrants were issued at the request of state police regarding Monday's slaying of Rebekah A. Byler, 23. Her body was found in the living room of her home a few miles from Spartansburg.
The slaying shocked the rural community in northwestern Pennsylvania, where people say the Amish, who restrict the use of technology and are known for their traditional clothing, get on well with non-Amish in the area.

"It's really sad that he could never find peace in his life," said Chad White, who came to the art display with his young son Ignatius to honor Cornell.

Authorities say despite there being people inside the salon at the time of the incident, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

According to a press release, Richard Spencer, 41, was traveling east in an unknown travel lane on I76 when he traveled across the shoulder and entered the grass to the south of the roadway.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) — Officials say a man broke into a Planned Parenthood office in northeastern Pennsylvania, smashing glass doors and painting graffiti on the walls.
Melissa Reed, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Keystone, said surveillance images show a man throwing a brick through a window of the Wilkes-Barre office at about 2 a.m. Monday.
She said the same man returned about an hour later with another brick, smashed other windows, climbed through the door and spray-painted graffiti including a biblical verse in red.
VATICAN CITY (TND) — Pope Francis called efforts to close the U.S. southern border “madness” during a 60 Minutes interview Sunday.
The pope argued countries should allow migrants to cross their borders and later decide whether they can stay.
“The migrant has to be received. Thereafter, you see how you’re going to deal with them,” he said. “Maybe you have to send them back, I don’t know. But each case ought to be considered humanely.
