Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Blair County are providing new details on the investigation into an Easter Sunday stabbing involving two teenage girls. Police have now filed charges against a 53-year-old Tyrone man after learning that he allegedly initiated the attack. According to the affidavit, on April 9th, police were dispatched to the 100 block of West 12th Street, in Tyrone Borough, for a reported armed robbery. Police say when officers arrived on scene, they discovered a 15-year-old female who had suffered multiple stab wounds after being attacked by another juvenile.

HEATH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Members of a Jefferson County sportsman club are asking for help after they say 8,000 fish from their nursery were killed by flooding that washed through Thursday night. The Heath Township Sportsman Club is now asking the community to help dispose of the fish. Volunteers are told to gather their buckets, shovels and gloves and to meet at the raceway off of State Route 949 at noon Saturday.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Authorities have identified the man gunned down Monday afternoon in the Moxham section of Johnstown. In a press conference Wednesday morning at the Cambria County Coroner’s office, officials identified the victim as 41-year-old Marvin Price, of Johnstown. Authorities say Price was shot and killed in a vehicle on the 600 block of Park Ave. around 2 p.m. The shooting happened near Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church and the school there was placed on lockdown as police responded.

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — State police say a section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, in Somerset Township, was closed for over 6 hours early Wednesday morning following a hit-and-run crash involving a truck hauling ice cream. Police say the crash occurred just before 1 a.m. near the 110.6 mile marker, according to the crash report. Investigators say a flatbed tractor-trailer was traveling in the right-hand lane and was attempting to pass the truck hauling ice cream when it crossed into the left lane and struck the other truck.
