JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — The Johnstown Mill Rats announced Friday that former Pittsburgh Pirates' catcher Michael McKenry and his wife, Jaclyn, have joined the ownership group of the team. The future of the team was left "up in the air" last fall after the Prospect League reportedly removed the Mill Rats from its website. In November, the team's management dispelled the uncertainty by stating that the organization planned to stay in Johnstown, as part of the Prospect League, with new ownership.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Johnstown police say a local man is behind bars following an investigation into allegations that he forced a young relative to perform sex acts involving adult sex products. Police say last August, officers spoke with the victim, who disclosed that she had been sexually assaulted by 33-year-old Scott Wagner. ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Lakemont Park may currently be covered in snow, but officials say they're looking ahead to opening day. Park staff says renovations began here almost three years ago. The park is scheduled to open this Memorial Day weekend for the first time since 2016. Lakemont officials say the park will be open seven days a week. Attractions will include historic Leap the Dips, the world’s oldest roller coaster still in operation, a new mini golf course, an all-new themed activity pool and renovated water slides.
