WASHINGTON (TND) — Comedian Bill Maher pushed back on criticism of his attitude toward the political left in a CNN interview Monday.
Maher, who has previously said he tends to vote for Democratic candidates, mocked liberal stances on gender, economic and social issues Monday. He told host Fareed Zakaria he will point out ideological shifts wherever he sees them.
"There are things that have to do with gender and race and free speech and ideas about, ‘you can be healthy at any weight’ and ‘gender is always a social construct’ and ‘maybe we should give communism another try’ and ‘maybe we should get rid of capitalism and the border patrol’ and ‘let’s tear down statues of Lincoln and get rid of the police.

The Hollidaysburg area school district school board met this evening for their regularly scheduled meeting , however many people still showed up to voice their opinions about the new policy attempted to be passed after a controversial book was brought into class by a teacher.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Officials with the Cambria County District Attorney's office confirmed to 6 News that a Johnstown mother who is accused of abusing and killing her 14-month-old daughter pleaded no contest earlier this week during a pre-trial hearing.
Police charged Veronica Lewis last May in the death of her daughter, Gianna Rice-Lewis, who was found unresponsive at a home along Grove Avenue.
According to an affidavit, police say Lewis allegedly abused the girl because "
