One of PA's surest signs that spring is upon us, the Game Commission says that hummingbirds create no harm to the state's ecological system and are welcomed guests.

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A Morrisdale woman has been charged with shooting her husband and then claiming he killed himself so she could get access to a million-dollar will, investigators say. Clearfield County District Attorney William Shaw tells 6 News that 46-year-old Kimberly Williams, of Morrisdale, faces multiple charges in the slaying of her husband, Ronald Williams Jr. The case was originally reported as a suicide, but ballistics evidence led investigators to rule it a homicide.
HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa — Jumping in a lake for a swim can be fun but it can also be dangerous. Park rangers say just a few simple steps can save your life and others. 20-year-old Douggreco Bailey went swimming with his friends in Raystown Lake Wednesday but unlike his friends, Bailey didn’t make it to shore. “A life jacket would’ve done a lot,” said Allen Gwinn, a park ranger at Raystown Lake.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A grand opening celebration was held Tuesday for the opening of another Johnstown business. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Bridge and Rising Studio and Lofts, located on Clinton Street. Owner Serena Bridges says the building was completely empty when she bought it several months ago. Now, three businesses occupy the space. On the first floor is game and hobby shop "Wolves and Wyverns" Located on the second floor is a studio space that can be rented for classes, workshops, or other events.
WASHINGTON (TND) — You soon won't be able to get a highly caffeinated drink at Panera. The company is "phasing out" its "Charged Lemonades" at all locations, according to a company spokesperson. Instead, Panera will be adding new "exciting," "trend flavors," "low-sugar" and "low-caffeine" drink options to its menu. The menu change comes after Panera's caffeinated beverages were blames for the deaths of at least two people that sparked lawsuits.
LORETTO -- Saint Francis Softball Head Coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift has accepted an offer to become the Head Coach of the NC State Softball program. Patrick-Swift led the Red Flash to new heights during her seven years as the leader of the program, including back-to-back NEC Titles. Patrick-Swift ended her tenure in Loretto with a 226-152 record over seven seasons, holding SFU program records for wins and win percentage (.597). She led the Red Flash to its first ever NEC Title, NCAA Tournament appearance and NCAA Tournament win in 2017, while setting an SFU and NEC season record with 49 wins and becoming the first NEC team to go undefeated in conference play.

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP – Richland Township police have made an arrest in Tuesday night’s armed robbery at the Honey Bear Mini Mart convenience store at 3100 Elton Road. Police said they arrested Zach Nagel, of Windber, after getting a tip on Facebook. Police said Nagel was armed with a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of money around 7 p.m. Nagel also told the clerk "he would blow his head off.
